Aimed at those who have taken the Pre- or Post-CHL training, these classes re-familiarize licensees with the concepts they learned earlier, as well as covering newer developments in carry and use of firearms. The program is shorter, with more emphasis on scenarios and discussion than on range time. To apply for a course, download the application form from the Application page or contact us via email and request a mailed form. You must meet Our Safer Community’s eligibility requirements (that include the eligibility requirements of the State of Texas for a Concealed Handgun License).
People who are qualified to take the course but have serious financial limitations are encouraged to apply for financial aid through Our Safer Community. Depending on your situation, you may receive a partial or full subsidy of course tuition, subject to availability of funds.
